THE BLOG.

We are husband and wife and we love the heck out of photography and, of course, each other. We are drawn to a journalistic style with a funky flare. In the midst of everything that life has thrown our way, we decided to go against the predictability and routine of a 9 to 5 job, and use the gifts God gave us to express our creativity through a camera lens. We are extremely passionate about life and art. We have to remind ourselves everyday that God has blessed us with so much that we cant ignore His calling for our lives. We want to serve you through our business and share this love Christ has given us. We love people, we love Chipotle and we love our Himalayan cat, Geronimo. Even though the world will throw us curves, we refuse to ignore the beating of our hearts or the songs in our ears. Thats just how we roll.

Spring Portrait Event 4.3.2010

Our last portrait event was in my humble opinion, a total success. I got to meet a bunch of new cool people and I think everyone had a good time. I’m getting prepared for our Spring Portrait event that will be taking place on April 3rd, so if you missed the last one and want to get in on the fun, email and let me know! The location is TBD but the day is set and we are ready to take appointments. As usual there are a limited number of spots and it’s first come first serve, so if you’ve been neglecting getting those important family or couple photos done, now is the time. It’s a short and sweet 30 minute mini session that is totally relaxed and fun and there’s only a $25 investment. Spots will fill fast so let me know as soon as possible and we can get you all set up with the details.

PORTRAIT PROJECT 2010

I really love people’s faces. They have so much to say and no two are ever the same. I recommend going slowly and really taking a good look, each person deserves our attention. Thank you to everyone shown in this post, I had so much fun working with you all and I’m looking forward to our next event.

Laura AND Lucas (just for fun!)

Laura is Dominique’s cousin from Arizona, she was in town with her boyfriend Lucas and they thought it might be fun to take a few pictures while they were here. I’m glad they did, because even though the weather was being its normal depressing self we got a ton of great shots and had a blast doing it. Now they are headed off to Disneyland, I only hope you guys aren’t TOO disappointed cause it’s not going to be nearly as fun as hanging out with us and posing for the camera.
Have a great time guys! Look forward to seeing you soon.

THE SCHEFF FAMILY

Well Dominique and I have had a pretty eventful last few weeks, there have been tons of changes and the good news is our lives are hopefully settling down a little now, not too much though, we still want things to stay interesting. If you want a little more info into our lives i suggest you check out www.dominiquerose.blogspot.com and keep checking back here cause I’m going to be posting a lot more in the coming days and weeks.

Last Sunday we shot a couple families and even some high school musicians, it was busy but it was worth it.

The Scheff’s managed to round up the whole gang for some family pics and I’m glad they did because they were a blast to work with and I think we busted out some pretty fun shots. I knew when they backed the Impala out of the garage we were in for some good times.
I want to thank the whole family for being so great and allowing us to invade their home with our cameras!
