We are husband and wife and we love the heck out of photography and, of course, each other. We are drawn to a journalistic style with a funky flare. In the midst of everything that life has thrown our way, we decided to go against the predictability and routine of a 9 to 5 job, and use the gifts God gave us to express our creativity through a camera lens. We are extremely passionate about life and art. We have to remind ourselves everyday that God has blessed us with so much that we cant ignore His calling for our lives. We want to serve you through our business and share this love Christ has given us. We love people, we love Chipotle and we love our Himalayan cat, Geronimo. Even though the world will throw us curves, we refuse to ignore the beating of our hearts or the songs in our ears. Thats just how we roll.
i love my wife more than anything else on this earth, she inspires me and encourages me. i love that I can take a photo of her whenever i want. thanks baby for always being you and making me laugh ALL the time.
the sky was amazing today, i had to take a few pics. and since i was available i thought i would jump in front of the cam.
So we’re allll moved in to our new studio and it feels really good to finally be settled. This spot feels incredibly more like “us” and it’s so nice to finally feel at home. My wife is such a breath of fresh air to everyone she meets, and I thought it would be appropriate to let you all know why. There’s so much to Dominique that very few people know or ever get to truly see. She is kind, generous, funny and welcoming. She is always looking out for others before herself and she is the single most encouraging person I’ve ever met. I know I’m biased but I can’t imagine living this life with a better partner by my side. She’s my support and my driving force and besides Christ, the most important thing in my world. I’ve been able to watch as she’s become a woman that I’m exceedingly proud to call my wife.
If you’ve had the pleasure of meeting Dominique you probably know that she’s intoxicating from the moment you meet her. She has so much personal character and a natural magnetism, but that’s not the only thing she has going for her. It’s still unbelievable how much talent she has bottled up in that little body of hers. She’s so much more artistic than most everyone gives her credit for and that really bothers me. Even now I’m watching her work on a project with such intensity that it makes me jealous because I know her mind is working and creating in ways I don’t think are possible for me. She’s so passionate in the things she believes in and makes her life a constant journey to fight for what she believes is right. I don’t know anyone else who wants more from this life and this world than her. I know it probably sounds cheesy to say she inspires me, but she totally does. I don’t think I have a fraction of the drive or commitment she has to making this life the best it can be or the imagination to dream the way she dreams. She’s so committed to making herself better, and even more committed to making Me better, which is why I think I love her sooo much.
Valentine’s Day always makes me think of the reasons I love my wife and this year I have a lot of reasons to think about. I know I get too much credit for what I do and so I want to take a little time to let you all know where the credit belongs. I’m blessed to have a partner in this life who believes in me enough to put her wants behind mine and allow me to do what I love. I owe everything to her and her willingness to press on even when things are hard. A lesser person would have given up so long ago in the face of what she has had to deal with, thank you baby for never giving up. Thank you for always laughing and always making me laugh, you have gotten me through so much. I love you sweetie.
