THE BLOG.

We are husband and wife and we love the heck out of photography and, of course, each other. We are drawn to a journalistic style with a funky flare. In the midst of everything that life has thrown our way, we decided to go against the predictability and routine of a 9 to 5 job, and use the gifts God gave us to express our creativity through a camera lens. We are extremely passionate about life and art. We have to remind ourselves everyday that God has blessed us with so much that we cant ignore His calling for our lives. We want to serve you through our business and share this love Christ has given us. We love people, we love Chipotle and we love our Himalayan cat, Geronimo. Even though the world will throw us curves, we refuse to ignore the beating of our hearts or the songs in our ears. Thats just how we roll.

WEDDING: CANDICE AND RYAN

Our first destination wedding was more beautiful than I could have expected. Our friends Candice and Ryan pulled off planning an amazing Hawaii wedding in only 2 months and managed to still have most of California show up. The location was absolutely breathtaking with the ocean and the mountains coming together to make a perfect spot for the biggest day of their lives. I am so glad you asked us to be there with you, I hope these pictures help you remember how beautiful your day was!

SacTown!

Dominique and I thought it was about time to take a little trip, and since I hadn’t been to our State Capitol since I was like 8, I made her go with me. We actually had a great time, the weather was perfect and the City was just beautiful. If you have time you all need to get up to Sacramento and take in the sights. Let me give you a few recommendations for your trip, these are the places we found particularly interesting. You have to check out the inside of our Capitol Building, take a tour it’s worth it. Not only do you get to find out about the inner workings of our judicial system, you may run into The Kindergarten Cop! Some of our other favorites were the Historic Train Museum, Old Town Sacramento, The Old School House and the Days Inn room 217. Andy and Marta

The cool thing about shooting out of town weddings is being able to meet up with old friends that are from that same town!  Our friends, Andy and Marta, live near Redding, so before we headed home we decided to meet them for coffee.

Chance and I met Andy in April of 2007 at a Joni and Friends retreat.  We met his cute wife, Marta, the following year at the same retreat.  Andy and Marta are two of the most encouraging people we have ever encountered.  Andy has dealt with several medical difficulties through the years, but when you’re around him and Marta, you don’t sense pain, but joy and instead.  Their outlook on life is such a breath of fresh air for Chance and me.  Their faith is something that I admire and their hearts are something I find great joy in.  Thank you to the people you are Andy and Marta; you are such a blessing to us, and an inspiration to many.  We love you.
